Akira 3D Fanart

Akira 3D Fanart.

One of my favorite still renders because of how colorful it came out. I used ~ 47 lights to get accurate coloration on the massive buildings which were very spaced apart. I was also very adamant on preserving that depth of field. I also had a fun time pushing corona renderer which traditionally is for more realistic images into making something more stylized like this.

Based on a production still I found online from Akira, I wwas really inspired to take a bit of my own spin on it and make it in a game art aesthetic.

reference vs result. I wasn't going for an exact recreation but I was still very happy that I was able to maintain identical silhouette for the most part

The pipes under here were dead simple, I had a procedural substance shader that I could slap onto all of them to make them all cohesive and equal rustiness

default shading view, The bridge too the longest of anything to make but I was really happy with how it came out.

original image. I was originally make it as samey as possible but I thought it would be fun to dirty it up a big like a real city bridge
